OpenLM Easyadmin Users Guide | Version 1.5.4 September 2009

OpenLM EasyAdmin is the interface of OpenLM for FLEXlm reporting, statistics and charting. It can run on any web browser - from any workstation on the network. OpenLM EasyAdmin is implemented as an Adobe Flash component and is used for providing a rich user interface.
Control Panel TABThis TAB gives an overview of total license exploitation.
General Statistics - Gives numbers that can give a general idea about licenses utilization:
Total daily users - The total number of unique users that accessed licensed products in the recent 24 hours. This parameter is very important to the efficiency of floating license usage. If the number of users is significantly higher than the number of available licenses, it may serve as an indication for an efficient usage of the resources.
Efficiency - This parameter is calculated as the accumulative minutes of actual software usage, divided by the total minutes of usage which are available out of all the licenses, that the company owns. A 100% result is the best and a 0% result is the absolute worst (no licenses were used). In simple words, the efficiency parameter represent actual usage against the total potential for usage.
License Servers - Detailed figures about current usage of each license server defined at the system. If OpenLM System Administrator defined licenses as hidden (see "Show/Hide Features" below), their statistics will not participate at the figures.
Selected Feature - Statistics regarding one feature.
Licenses TABLists all features that are monitored by OpenLM.
Filter Options - this menu appears as a part of every TAB at Easyadmin. It allows restricting and filtering of the data according to many criteria.
Show/Hide Features button - choose features that will not be displayed.

Usage button - show feature usage in resolution of minutes/hours/days/weeks or months. The values that are shown are peak values.
Export button - allows exporting the values at the grids/charts to a text file in csv format.
Active Products TAB List all the licenses that have been checked out
Remove button - removes a "stuck" or "hung" license.
Workstations TAB Workstations display is relevant only to users who deployed OpenLM Agent.
Data regarding each workstation includes recent time that an acknowledge was received from the workstation, last known user and agent version.
"Managed" property is of value to users who employ OpenLM for ArcGIS. Positive value means that the workstations works as expected.
Licenses Activity TAB This is the main TAB for license utilization reports. Reports are produced according to server, vendor, feature, user, group or product. The grid lists the results as well as a total sum of hours.
Released Licenses TAB This TAB is of importance to users of OpenLM for ArcGIS (or for users that employ their own OpenLM extension). Here you can get an idea about the activity of OpenLM TIMEOUT mechanism. "Reason" for releasing software can be "User Closure" when user closed the software, ore "OpenLM Closure" where user left the software idle and OpenLM released it to the benefit of other users.
Denails TAB OpenLM collects data of denied license requests so administrators can learn about the necessity of licenses that are overused.
Reports TAB Reports TAB gives you the total sum of usage grouped by groups or projects.
