Configuring Extensions – Project Usage – HT859

 

 

 

 

Configure Project Usage

 

  • Please make sure you have a single OpenLM Server installation on a central network server.
  • Be sure to install OpenLM Broker on the license server.
  • Also make sure you have an OpenLM Agent installation on the end-user workstation.
  • Windows Start button –> All Programs –> OpenLM –> OpenLM User Interface.
  • Start –>  Administration –> Projects –> Check the box Log projects information.
  • Start –>  Management–> Projects.
  • Click Add –> Fill in the required details:
    • Name –> Input the new project’s name.
    • Start date –> When the project starts.
    • End date –> When the project ends.
    • Allocated time –> Usage time allocated (Or budgeted) for this project.
    • Priority –> Set project priority.
    • Precent Done –> How much of the project is actually finished.
    • Click Save
  • Click on the Users tab –> Click Add –> Select users for this project –> Click Select.
  • Under the Users tab –> Select the users and click Set this project as default.
  • Click on the Groups tab –> Click Add –> Select groups for this project –> Click Select.
  • Under the Groups tab –> Select the groups and click Set this project as default.
  • On the end-user workstation –> Once the application opens, the OpenLM Agent will show a drop-down list to choose a project from.
  • Continue with configuring other OpenLM Extensions.
