Initial OpenLM installations permit fully featured access to the OpenLM software, for an evaluation period of one month.

When this period has elapsed, the OpenLM software will prompt the user for a license file. The user will then need to contact OpenLM in order to obtain such a license file.

Procedure

In order to receive a license file for your OpenLM installation, please do the following:

1. Provide your Hostname (case sensitive) & MAC Address. These may be obtained by the “OpenLM Server Host Details” tool. See the image below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

2. Send this data to OpenLM’s sales department at sales@openlm.com

3. OpenLM will respond to your request with a license file.

4. Copy the license file to

C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenLM\OpenLM Server\License\

5. Stop and restart the OpenLM Server service.

 

License file content

In order to see the content of your license file, please do either one of the following, as depicted below:

  • In the EasyAdmin web application, click ‘Start’ → ‘Administration’ → “OpenLM License” or

  • Click the OpenLM version number in the EasyAdmin window’s background.
