Applications
The Applications tab is the application-centric view of the inventory: one row per discovered application, aggregated across every workstation it was found on. It is the default tab when Product Discovery opens.
The applications grid

| Application Name | The application's name, as discovered and normalized. |
| Publisher | The software publisher. Shows --- when the scan reported none. |
| Total Installs | How many installations exist across all workstations. |
| Versions | How many distinct versions of the application are installed. |
| Status | Matched — linked to a SAM Catalog entry — or Unmatched. |
The toolbar holds Export CSV, Refresh, a filter toggle, and Search. Turning the filter toggle on swaps the Status column header for a dropdown with All, Matched, and Unmatched, so you can narrow the grid to either side of the match split; turning it off resets the selection to All.
See where an application is installed
Select an application's row to open the Installations panel beside the grid — one row per installation of that application:

| Version | The installed version on that workstation. |
| Hostname | The workstation the installation was found on. |
| Primary User | The workstation's primary user. |
| Install Path | Where the application is installed. |
| First Discovered | When this installation first appeared in a scan. |
| Last Seen | The most recent scan that still reported it. |
To close the panel, select the row's radio button again or select anywhere outside the grid.
Mark an application as noise
Utilities, launchers, and helper components that survive the built-in filters can be removed from the inventory with the Mark as Noise row action (the crossed-circle icon at the end of each row). Confirming the dialog:
- creates a Custom exclusion rule named
Noise: <application name>that matches the product name exactly, and - removes the application from the Applications view.
Future scans drop the application before it reaches the inventory. Marking as noise is undone from the Exclusion Rules tab by deleting the rule it created.
Export the inventory
Export CSV downloads the applications list with the columns Application Name, Publisher, Total Installs, Version Count, Feature Code, and Is Matched. The export respects the current search term and the Matched/Unmatched filter, and it covers the full filtered list — every page, not just the one on screen.
