Active users
The Active User Report provides a detailed view of active license users, showing time-wise active user counts alongside session details. It tracks how many unique users accessed licensed features during each time period and lists user-specific activities. This report helps monitor licensing activity, identify peak usage periods, and analyze user behavior across departments and servers.
In the product this report is the Active User Report sheet of the Active Analytics dashboard.
Active User Report showing time-wise active user count and detailed user session data for license usage monitoring and analysis.

Interpreting this report
- "Active" is precise here: a session with no end time yet. The count is people currently holding at least 1 license, not people logged into their machines. A user with 3 open sessions still counts once.
- The bar chart's shape is your organization's concurrency profile. Its peaks tell you when license demand is highest; if the peaks approach your pool sizes, expect the first denials at exactly those times - corroborate with License usage's hourly heatmap.
Not Availablecontact fields mean the directory never supplied the data, not that the account is anonymous. Populate them through your Users and Groups synchronization if you need this report to identify people.- What each active user is holding at this moment is on Currently consumed licenses.
