Configure Custom Commands – Active Agent

 

  • Please make sure you have a single OpenLM Server installation on a central network server.
  • Be sure to install OpenLM Broker on the license server.
  • Also make sure you have an OpenLM Agent installation on the end-user workstation.
  • Windows Start button –> All Programs –> OpenLM –> OpenLM EasyAdmin User Interface –> Start –>  Administration –> Agent Procedures.
  • Click Add –> Name the procedure (Agent script for example) –> Add Action –> Fill in the following details:
    • Script info –> Input any custom script to run on the end-user workstation.
    • Run at –> Application.
    • Action Type –> AgentScript –> Run a script on the end-user workstation.
  • Continue with configuring the Active Agent.
  • Or, continue with configuring other OpenLM Extensions.

Configure Custom Commands – Unmanaged Processes

 

  • Please make sure you have a single OpenLM Server installation on a central network server.
  • Be sure to install OpenLM Broker on the license server.
  • Also make sure you have an OpenLM Agent installation on the end-user workstation.
  • Windows Start button –> All Programs –> OpenLM –> OpenLM EasyAdmin User Interface –> Start –>  Administration –> Agent Procedures.
  • Click Add –> Name the procedure (Agent script for example) –> Add Action –> Fill in the following details:
    • Script info –> Input any custom script to run on the end-user workstation.
    • Run at –> Application.
    • Action Type –> AgentScript –> Run a script on the end-user workstation.
  • Continue with configuring Unmanaged Processes.
  • Or, continue with configuring other OpenLM Extensions.

Configure Custom Commands – Applications Manager

 

  • Please make sure you have a single OpenLM Server installation on a central network server.
  • Be sure to install OpenLM Broker on the license server.
  • Also make sure you have an OpenLM Agent installation on the end-user workstation.
  • Make sure OpenLM Applications Manager is installed and configured.
  • Windows Start button –> All Programs –> OpenLM –> OpenLM EasyAdmin User Interface.
  • Start –>  Administration –> OpenLM Applications Manager –> License Consumption Rules –> Click on Allow or Deny.
  • under Script –> Input the CMD script that you want to run on the workstations.
  • Run at –> Application.
  • Click Save.
  • The script will run alongside the Allow or Deny commands, depending on what you select.
  • Continue with configuring other OpenLM Extensions.
