OpenLM Broker must already be installed and configured to report to OpenLM before proceeding further:

  1. Navigate to Broker from any convenient browser by accessing http://localhost:5090 (or incremental (for example 5091,5092), if the default 5090 port is occupied).
  2. Select the License Managers tab.
  3. Click Add License Manager. A pop-up appears.
  4. From the drop-down list, select MlicAdmin.
  5. Enter the port number (e.g. 888). Click ADD.
  6. The Settings tab opens up:
  7. Note about the License Files:
Each feature has a dedicated license file. Please choose to Detect the license file automatically or Set the license file path manually for each feature you wish to monitor:
  8. If you choose to manually add feature license files, click Add license file path and navigate to their location.
  9. Ensure the Allow license file sorting and Watch license file toggles are turned off.
  10. Select the Vendors tab. Click Add Vendor. In the pop-up that appears, enter the Vendor name—Mnova—and click Continue.
  11. Switch to the Log Files tab. Click Add Log File. Make sure the Watch file by pattern is turned off. Click CONTINUE.
  12. Click SAVE.

OpenLM configuration

Automatic OpenLM configuration through EasyAdmin User Interface

If you have followed the steps in the section above, the OpenLM Broker should now transmit data to the OpenLM. The final step is to approve the configuration in EasyAdmin User Interface:

  1. Access your EasyAdmin User Interface. Navigate to Start → Widgets → License Manager Servers.
  2. Click on the There are Servers Pending Approval icon in the License Servers window.
  3. Double-click on the pending license manager. It is displayed as OpenLM Generic. Verify the configurations and click APPROVE.

The Mnova License Manager has been automatically added to the OpenLM Server, and the configuration is complete. The data will be parsed and available in a few moments. The green circle will confirm the status.

How to verify your Mnova License Manager configuration

To check if the Mnova License Manager server is being monitored correctly:

  1. Open the EasyAdmin user interface in your browser.
  2. Click EasyAdmin Start → Widgets → License Servers. Verify that the configured license manager(s) appears in the server list. A green circle node indicates an active connection to the license server.

Please note that if this is a new connection, the status indicator may take up to 3 minutes to change.
