A multinational provider of engineering services to telecom, military and transport industries has embarked on a global consolidation program in which it will replace its license servers that are currently spread out in the United States, Germany, UK, India and other locations to a centrally-managed server in its West European data center.
The company already has implementations of OpenLM in place in a number of different countries. The new centralized servers are currently serving 2 European locations through over 100 ports. More are planned for the beginning of 2018 and the project is expected to be completed in September 2018, with a configuration of some 120 vendors and 1500 users being monitored by OpenLM.
Among the engineering company’s engineering software that will be monitored by OpenLM are Unigraphics, Catia, Isograph and Matlab!
