A customer complained having received a “403 forbidden” message whenever opening the EasyAdmin web application.
During debugging, he clicked the F12 button, and observed the error originated when EasyAdmin attempted to access the internet in order to open the ‘Tutorials’ page.
Try each of the following solutions separately:
1. Update the OpenLM Server to the latest version.
2. Try a different Browser type
3. Clear the Browser cache
4. Alleviate the browser’s security level.
5. Are you connected to the internet via proxy server ? If so – you will need to do the following modifications to the top lines of the file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenLM\OpenLM Server\WebApps\EasyAdmin2\proxy.php
5a. Uncomment and configure this line:define(‘PROXY_SERVER’, ‘Proxy_gateway:Proxy_port number’);
5b. If proxy authentication is required then uncomment and configure this line: define(‘PROXY_CREDENTIALS’, ‘user:password’);
5c. If an authentication type other than ‘Basic’ is required uncomment this line: define(‘PROXY_AUTH_TYPE’, ‘DIGEST’)
Note: Available authentication types are BASIC, DIGEST & NTLM. BASIC is the most common.
C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenLM\OpenLM Server\WebApps\EasyAdmin2\params.js
and change the line var _showTutorial = true; to var _showTutorial = false;
Note that this fix will be overridden when upgrading OpenLM to a future release version.
