Broker Status Error Description: DOWN: TS-BR006

Symptoms:

OpenLM broker shown as down at all times.

Solution:

In the Broker configuration window: Select the relevant port, and:

 

1. Vendor name must be equivalent (case sensitive) to the name you get when clicking the ‘Check’ button in the OpenLM Server configuration tool.

2.  Click the ‘Execute’ button in the  ‘Status’ command and check the output.

 

3. Change the lmutil.exe command: Edit the default path (C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenLM\ …) in the ‘status’ command to point to the original lmutil command you got from your vendor. Click ‘Apply’ and “Restart Broker”.

 

4. Click the ‘Execute’ button in the “Data inquiry” command, and check the output.

 

5. Change the lmutil.exe command: Edit the default path (C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenLM\ …) in the “Data inquiry” command to point to the original lmutil command you got from your vendor. Click ‘Apply’ and “Restart Broker”.

 

6. After making changes, give the system some time (1 min) to propagate. If these changes still have not helped, sent the logs to  Support@openlm.com

  • Set the OpenLM Server and Broker logging level to ‘ALL’,

  • Stop the OpenLM server service and OpenLM Broker service

  • Delete the OpenLM Server log files: C:\Program Files\OpenLM\OpenLM Server\Log

  • Delete the OpenLM Broker log files: C:\Program Files\OpenLM\OpenLM Broker\Log

  • Restart the OpenLM server service, and OpenLM Broker service.

  • Wait 10 minutes, and verify that you see the same indications in the EasyAdmin “License Servers” window

  • Zip and send us the OpenLM server and OpenLM Broker log file directories.
