IPG Lock

Follow these steps to configure OpenLM to monitor license usage and retrieve statistics from the IPGLock license manager.

Requirements

  1. OpenLM Platform
  2. OpenLM Broker v25.x or higher installed on the same machine as IPGLock, and approve it in Broker Hub.

Install and configure OpenLM Broker before starting these steps.

Manual configuration (Broker web UI)

  1. Open Broker UI at http://localhost:5090/.

  2. Go to License Managers -> Add License Manager.

    Select IPGLock, enter the port number, and click Add. IMAGE 118

  3. Select IPGLock, enter the port number, and click Add.

    In the Commands tab, confirm the Service Name is correct and click Execute to verify the Telnet command works. IMAGE 111

    Go to the Vendors tab -> Add Vendor, enter IPGLock, and click Continue. IMAGE 106

  5. Go to the Vendors tab -> Add Vendor, enter IPGLock, and click Continue.

    Go to the Log Files tab, browse to the IPGLock log file, and click Continue. IMAGE 44

  6. Go to the Log Files tab, browse to the IPGLock log file, and click Continue.

    Click Save.

  7. Click Save.

Configure OpenLM Platform

  1. Log in to OpenLM Platform.

  2. From Menu, go to License Servers.

    On left menu, select Pending Server

  3. On left menu, select Pending Server

  4. On the list, select the IPGLock license manager and click on Approve and Merge

    Verifying the configuration

  5. In OpenLM Web Interface -> Menu -> License Servers Live -> Server Statistics.

  6. Ensure IPGLock appears in the list with a green status indicator.

Note: It can take up to 3 minutes for the status to update for new connections.
