OpenLM Browser Extension Privacy Policy


Introduction

OpenLM is committed to protecting the online privacy of its clients and customers. This privacy policy explains the procedures regarding OpenLM’s approach to collect, store, use and other actions in relation to personal data within the Google Chrome browser extension.

Definitions

    Third party websites – the extension works with third party websites and may contain links to third party websites. The company has no control over, and does not review and is not responsible for data collected and managed by those websites. If you click on a link to any other websites, you may be subject to data processing by these third parties websites. 

    Retention of personal datathe company will retain your personal data as long as it is necessary for the purposes related to the functionality of the extension. The data will be also retained to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes if needed.

    Improvement of service – the data collected may be used only for technical purposes of analysing the functionality of the extension and ways of improving or adding new features. If new features will require further processing, the user will be notified and additional consent may be requested.

    Disclosure by accident – should an accident happen and your personal data will be lost, stolen, leaked, modified, etc., you will be immediately notified and all the legal procedures will be initiated.

    The use of this specific extension implies by default that the user is aware that data is collected and processed and cannot opt out of these processes.

    Third parties browser privacy extensions – the service is not compatible with third party privacy extensions. Use of such applications may cause the service to be faulty or not to work as intended.

    The privacy policy of our company regarding the browser extension is under regular review and any changes or updates to the policy will be published immediately. 

    You will be notified about the changes as soon as possible or the next time you use the extension. If there will be substantial changes, you may have to additionally consent for the new additions regarding the data processing process.

    The right to access – you have the right to request from our company copies of your personal data that we possess. As well, you may access, update or request deletion of your personal data.

If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with access to certain specific functionalities of the extension. Total failure to access and operate our extension is possible considering that data acquired is vital for the working purposes of the extension.
